VAHAN – The Integrated Solution for Vehicle Registration. It is  a highly flexible and comprehensive system that takes care of all the burdensome activities of Vehicle Registration, leaving the Transport Department to deal with more important business issues. The software enables the processes at RTO/DTO/MLO/SDM involving Vehicle Registration, Fitness, Taxes, Permits & Enforcement to get computerized.

VAHAN Services :

• Vehicle Registration includes New Vehicle Registration, Renewal of Registration, Transfer of Ownership and Change of Address etc.
• Permit includes Issue of National & Interstate Permit and Renewal of Permit.
• Taxes looks into the State-wise tax calculation & Payment.
• Fitness includes Issue of Fitness Certificate and Renewal of Fitness Certificate.
• Enforcement looks after Issue of Challan and  Settlement of Penalty Amount.

SARATHI : Facilitates public to submit applications for LL & DL related transactions thru this mode. The application data is in turn transferred to the remote RTO/DTOs of the states for further processing of the request (submitted thru ONLINE) at the local RTO/DTO Office.
