1. About the Department:

                  The Office of the District Sports officer, Dimapur is a unit operating under the umbrella of the Directorate of Youth Resources and Sports, Nagaland Kohima. The department aims in the empowerment and development of the youth population through various curricular activities and promoting sports along with the development of sports-activity infrastructures across the districts. The department is further divided into two establishments – District Sports Office and District Youth Resource Office. However, the two establishments will be merged under the charge of a District Youth Resource and Sports Officer for which an official order is awaited.

The District Sports Office alongside District Youth Resources Office is currently located at the Multi Disciplinary Sports Complex, Near Deputy Commissioner’s office road Junction, Dimapur.
