The Nagaland State Transport (NST) Department was officially established on 18th 
December 1964 to provide initially basic minimum public transportation to the people 
particularly in rural areas. The NST Dimapur Station has been the main operating hub 
for the department since its inception. Operates a subsidized Helicopter Service.
