1). About the Department:
NKVIB primarily functions as an implementing agency for KVIC by providing financial assistance in the form of marginal grants to beneficiaries financed by the banks under the Prime Minister’s Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP).
– PMEGP: To generate employment opportunities both in rural and urban areas through setting up of new self-employment ventures/projects/micro enterprises.
– Entrepreneurship Development Training: Conducts Entrepreneurship Development Programme from time to time.
– Capacity Building: Organizes various training programmes sponsored by KVIC
under capacity building programmes at MDTC Dimapur under the establishment of NKVIB.
